Unforgiving World

life is a risk with everyone at stake

a test of strength and perseverance, just to see which ones will flake

i’ve been taught all my life that only way to win, was to be kind and understanding, to stray away from sin

then why does it seem that the only ones still standing, are the greedy and conniving, lacking all “kind understanding”

it seems i’m left to let my mind fall into swirls

left right in the middle of an unforgiving world
